Initial consultation & Analysis of your body

During your initial session, you will have the opportunity to sit down with a trainer and engage in a comprehensive discussion covering a wide range of topics. These discussions will encompass your goals, any previous injuries you have experienced, and your exercise history. This thorough conversation will delve into the factors behind your past successes and identify why certain approaches may no longer be effective.

Once your trainer has gained in-depth knowledge of your past, current, and future health journey, the next step is to assess your body’s capabilities. We employ a tried and tested assessment tool to evaluate your body’s movement in key patterns, pinpoint areas of concern, and identify areas of particular interest.

This meticulous process allows our trainers to develop a personalised blueprint for your training approach, ensuring that it is precisely tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.

Program design and implementation

After gathering all the necessary information, your dedicated trainer will proceed to develop a framework for your program, carefully designing it to suit your specific requirements. Once your personalised program is complete, your trainer will schedule a session dedicated to guiding you through it. During this session, they will ensure that you understand each step of the program and provide you with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.

Ongoing support

As a collective, every member holds a special place in our community. We prioritise providing support to our members by ensuring that our trainers are readily available to address any questions or concerns that may arise regarding your program. We maintain a vigilant presence, attentively watching over our members to ensure that assistance is always within reach whenever it is needed.

Re-evaluation & adjustment

At approximately the 6-week mark, you will have the opportunity to sit down with your trainer and engage in a comprehensive re-evaluation of your program. During this session, your trainer will reassess your progress and ascertain whether you are on track to achieve success.

They will make necessary updates to specific exercises and programming to ensure alignment with your goals and adherence. This regular evaluation and adjustment process aims to maximise the effectiveness of your program and keep you on the right path towards achieving your desired outcomes.

Consistency plays a pivotal role in achieving long-lasting health benefits. Both you and your trainer have made a dedicated commitment to prioritise your health and have discovered the blueprint that works best for you.

My first thought was what have I signed myself up to but when I started losing my first kilos I was very happy. Deb was a great help, always supporting me along the way and my daughter also helped me a lot by preparing my lunches and stopping me from snacking 😁. A great community gym.I never thought I’d be a gym kind of person - I love the outdoors. But as one gets older, not only is aerobic fitness still important, but balance and strength exercises even more so.Trainer Deb manages all my aches and pains while keeping me fit, strong, healthy and mentally sharp. She is amazing.I love this gym.

Healthspan's youth program is great. All the staff are warm and welcoming, and do not judge you on your fitness/abilities, they just want you to improve yourself and make sure you have the right techniques. I would highly recommend this gym.

Trainers are all lovely, friendly and open to questions. Energise appealed to me because it was a safe space for me to go to the gym and lift weights as a beginner in a friendly environment- and that's exactly what I got! I joined Energize express about 3 years ago and it was the best move I’ve ever made. I was feeling very sluggish & not happy with my weight. The gym has this lovely comfortable vibe, and everyone is part of the gym community you can chat to people if you want or just get on with the job. The trainers are so dedicated in helping you achieve your goals. Each year they have an 8 week challenge & boy does it work as my first year in I won . I lost weight but gained muscle mass I have never looked back I feel fit, fabulous & thru the guidance of my trainer Deb eat a much more balanced diet.
